Lauren was instrumental in teaching my children how to ride—and love—horses. She not only taught them to jump but also instilled in them confidence, responsibility, and a deep respect for both the sport and the animals. From the very beginning, she emphasized that the horse is not just something to ride, but a true partner. She helped my kids understand that if they wanted different results, they had to adjust how they communicated with their horse—teaching them empathy, patience, and the importance of clear, respectful communication. She strikes the perfect balance as an instructor: firm enough to guide them through challenges, yet gentle and encouraging when they need support. Lauren is always kind, welcoming, and above all, prioritizes safety. She doesn’t just explain what to do—she’ll get on the horse herself to demonstrate, and she never gives up until her riders truly understand. If one approach isn’t working, she adjusts her teaching style until it clicks.  As a parent, I also deeply appreciated how Lauren kept us involved without requiring us to intervene. She gave us the space to sit back and enjoy the process while still checking in regularly to ensure we understood how our kids were progressing. She created an environment where riding became more than just a sport—it became a series of life lessons.
